A girl as a first child

Having a girl as a first child is a bless, in all the ways  you will enjoy it,  but as they always say having a girl makes you look older sooner than having a boy, YESSSS soooooo right,  at the age of 10 boys are still childish  but girls start to be more mature and "girly",  at the age of 12 boys are starting to get boyish but girls are young ladies. I'm  37 years old  and my 12 and half baby is only 3 cms shorter than I do!!!! She's  starting teenaging with all its  pros and cons,  with each passing day she's becoming  a lady, inside and outside  transformation,  I  can not even remember  when did this happen?   Last week she was not that big??  Now she wears almost the same size as I do,  even her look in outfits  is no longer childish, it's  a ladie's look... she imitates me and celebrities  instead of imitating Hanna Montana  and cartoon characters.  We even had our "fight"  about dyeing her hair and light makeup. Just a few years ago she was asking me to let her sleep one more night in my bed,  now she's  offended  if I  asked her for a kiss in public.  I can not see the lady she's turning to  as I still see the baby that she was almost 12 years ago,  when I first held her and our first nights sleepless in my living room  and me crying for not understanding why she's crying and how to soothe her. In a day and night she was a little "caterpillar"  now she's a grown up  "Butterfly ".
And now I am starting to feel getting older ...my time to shine has ended and her time to shine has to start.......with all the love may her days be bright full as her eyes.
